Soulsong #480 – How Do I Circumvent Trouble?
Suppose I lived in a nasty part of town. High crime. Run-down properties. Lots of car accidents and disease.
I’d probably look for a part of town where things are different. I would try to move to a place where danger and crime do not prevail.
In reality, problems can, of course, shadow me no matter where I live. But as I move to new places in my HABITS OF THOUGHT, I can find myself in a zone where trouble is not. I can enter a place where illness, infuriating people, financial woes, career backsets, and family upheaval DO NOT FIND ME. Many people live there, and I can, too.
To enter this zone, I practice accepting my life as-is. I focus on what’s going well and appreciate it. I minimize or ignore that which I don’t like or want. I learn to be as happy as I can possibly be, no matter what occurs, knowing that this is how things improve.
I also consistently think about my ideal life. I envision it. I savor it. I live it in my mind and FEEL it.
When I stop giving attention to things that go wrong, things will stop going wrong for me. When I give consistent attention to that which I want, it will begin to flow to me with ease.
Everything is responding to my vibration – my habits of thought. When I consistently vibrate happiness, trouble cannot find me. Oh, it might find people I know if their vibrations beckon it. I can’t fix that, for I can’t vibrate for another person.
But it won’t come to me. Trouble won’t find me.
