Soulsong #491 – How Do I Become Prosperous?
In order to gain wealth, I may try to think like a wealthy person and then do what a wealthy person does, generally-speaking. But all I really need to do is the first part – think like a wealthy person.
And that doesn’t require me to ponder the stock market or pore over tax laws. All I need to do is consistently think about myself in the financial situation that I desire – spending, saving, and sharing my abundance in whatever ways appeal to me. When I make it a habit to practice creative visualization, getting the FEELING of prosperity, I’ll begin to see prosperity turning up in all sorts of serendipitous ways, including fresh insights, money-making ideas, helpful mentors, and well, cold, hard cash.
I need not fight my negative images about money. Rather, I can use every thought of lack and limitation as a trigger to envision its opposite: I can turn my complaint about too-low wages into envisioning a promotion; a worry about a car payment becomes a mental picture of my paying the car loan off; nail-biting about a start-up business venture becomes an image of my company flourishing; resentment over a chintzy vacation becomes a visualization of a first-class trip next year.
This is a universe of utterly unlimited abundance. I am welcome to prosperity, I am worthy of prosperity, and no one can deprive me - only my own tendency to focus on the ways things are right now and thus get more-of-the-same.
I relax, envision, and begin to receive what I’ve dreamed up – only better, wondrously better.
