Soulsong #493 – How Do I Get from Point A to Point B?

How do I go from where I am right now to where I want to be?

How do I go from not-enough-money to lots-of-money? How do I go from a lousy job to a fulfilling job? How do I go from no relationship or a discordant  relationship to a harmonious one?

How do I go from poor health to good health? How do I go from loneliness to friendships? How do I go from failure at my studies to success in class? How do I go from fat to fit?

The process is always the same: I must think more about Point B and less about Point A.

And that takes some getting-used to, since Point A is easy to observe. Point A is “in my face.”

But I must, in my mind, shrink Point A, making it no-big-deal, temporary, OK for now, irrelevant, just-passin’-through. Then I allocate time each day to imagine, savor, revel in, and get the feeling of Point B.

And each time throughout the day I notice myself disliking, regretting, getting frustrated with, or wanting to pound the crap out of Point A, I switch my focus to Point B and “live” there for a few moments.

As a result of this process, doors will begin to open, remedies and solutions will appear, ideas will come to me, benefactors will turn up, opportunities will arise, I’ll meet perfect people at the perfect time. I’ll even evoke positive change from the people around me without trying.

And in due time, I’ll be living in Point B.

And then my Point B will become, in certain aspects, Point A again, as I launch NEW desires that create a NEW Point B.

Once I accept this eternal process and get in the flow of it, there is nowhere I cannot go, nothing I cannot experience.

Nowhere, nada, zilch.
